Cannes Campsite beaches

Cannes, its legendary beaches & its hidden side

Do you want to stroll down La Croisette and walk down the red carpet like a movie star? Well, you can – just 45 minutes from our 3* campsite with a swimming pool, at Les Rives du Loup. Cannes is one of the legendary cities of the French Riviera, with its famous grand hotels, port and stylish bars. But the city of Cannes still has plenty of surprises for you!

The French Riviera, Natural side

Do you want to enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches of Cannes, whilst surrounded by nature and fresh air? Our rental mobile homes, chalets or camping pitches, are perfect for you!

Cannes Festival

Every year in the month of May, movie stars find themselves flocking to the Cannes Festival. And that works out perfectly! Our 3* campsite in the French Riviera is open from April. With a bit of luck, you will bump into a few celebrities on La Croisette or in front of the grand hotels 😉 All of that takes place just 45 minutes from our family campsite in Les Gorges du Loup!

Going out in Cannes

Fancy some refreshments after a day on the beaches of Cannes? The city is teeming with seaside and rooftop bars, to take in the sunset over the bay, as you sip your favourite drink! We recommend, for example, the 360° Bar-Restaurant at the Radisson Blu, which has without a doubt the best view of the bay, on the 7th floor terrace.

The other side of Cannes

The city of Cannes is not just about the glitz and glamour of La Croisette. There are plenty of other ways to discover its many hidden gems.

You can, for example, get out of the city centre to explore the stunning neighbourhood of Californie Pézou. Admire the magnificent villas on the cliffs, as well as the great views over the Bay of Cannes. Another great trip for a wonderful day out is exploring the town by bike, to give yourself some extra time to admire the finer details at your own pace.

If you would like to make the most of the sea breeze, we suggest visiting Îles de Lérins: a little slice of paradise for more wild beaches typical in the South of France. If you like small coves, turquoise water, pine trees and cicadas, go for it!! You will find boat shuttles from Cannes every day of the year (the crossing takes between 15 and 20 minutes). As we have many sporty guests at Camping Les Rives du Loup, remember that the islands are also accessible by canoe! 😉

You should also visit the Croix des Gardes Nature Park, for a walk surrounded by nature, very close to the city. The park has 80 hectares of land, 20km of marked trails and is less than 1km from La Croisette! In the French Riviera, you are never far from nature!

There’s no time to lose, come and join us at Camping Les Rives du Loup! 😉

On a river, fresh and clean ....
The croissants are not the best but the staff is very friendly
The pillows are a bit too ”plastic”.

End of season visit
I was there with my brother to visit our sister who lives nearby. Last few days of the season but everything was operating as per normal including the pool. Friendly staff, all very clean and efficient.

An oasis of calm in the hectic cote d'azur.
The location is great for beauty, tranquility and pet-friendliness. The chalets are fairly spacious and are very well-equipped and clean, the staff are extremely helpful.
It was a little hard to find, the first night, but after we phoned for directions we were given all the help we needed and guided to our destination by phone.

Hawkes family
We Had an amazing time, we really enjoyed our stay with you, it was very relaxing, the caravan was lovely and clean, the river was beautiful and we felt very welcome, we will definitely be returning. Thankyou.

adequate but would stay in local aubergine in preference.
this is a mobile home campsite with a few rooms in the main building. food is very basic. rooms are neat, good size and clean.
wifi only works with one device for limited time, so my wife and I could not utilise this as expected and staff unable to resolve this. only option was to pay a supplement for advertised free WiFi, which is unacceptable. campers and bikers a bit noisy but very friendly.

Superb
This property is located 45mins out of Nice and was a great stop over for us having been 8hrs on a ferry from Corsica. The staff were more than helpful, especially considering that we turned up very late in the evening and they still found time for us to have a long awaited beer! It is in a beautiful location and we’re just sorry we couldn’t spend longer there. Definitely in the list of places to revisit with more time on our hands!1-

Very good stay in a quiet area and great friendly people
I really liked the stay here, I was sad to be leaving after one night. It's a very quiet place in the middle of nowhere. They did have someone stay up late for our late arrival, and the room was nice. We stayed in the little hotel that they have on the property. I can see how it could be a little noisy though if too many people were coming in and out. The owners themselves live in the hotel and there is a great family feel. We stayed here for a short stay before heading into Nice for Ironman Nice, but it would've been fine to stay here the whole time and you are right on a significant piece of the bike course. The breakfast was basic baguettes and croissants but it's France so it was wonderful. I loved the owners. The property was wide open and quiet, and it was easy to put our bikes together in the parking lot while people came by and asked friendly questions. It was a great stay.

The owner's family spoke great English, so much so that I thought he was American. He even had an east coast accent.

The view out the bedroom window was fantastic.

I did have an expired code for the Wifi, but since I arrived so late, I did not give them a chance to fix that problem, so it would be unfair to dock them for that minor issue.

I had a truly wonderful experience for a 40th birthday party recently. The site is well located in a valley with a beautiful stream and breathtaking views of the mountains. It's also a short car drive away from the picturesque Gourdon village.
All the chalets are brand new with large showers and wooden decked porches. The food is of great quality and there is a well stocked bar (the barmen even put on free shots for us!). What struck me the most was how friendly and helpful the staff were; on forgetting to pack my face cream they sent it back to me in UK free of charge.

Great stay
We booked a hotel room for one night to begin our journey into Provence-Camargue and it was an excellent start of the trip. Very large and comfortable room, friendly staff, great location which is worth to visit for longer.

Heerlijk tot rust gekomen en genoten!
We liked a lot of things:
The cabin was really nice, clean and new
The food in the restaurant was good and for a good price
The staff was lovely and very friendly
The environment is beautiful and near a lot of beautiful places to visit (Monaco, Cannes, Valbonne, Gourdon, Tourettes sur Loup, Saint Paul, etc etc)
It was not really a bad thing, but I would like to suggest to place a ventilator in the cabin. This will make the experience even better. :)

Good
The hotel is at the centre of a very pleasant camping site. There is a good-sized swimming pool, and a friendly restaurant.

Pretty little site. You can get as involved as you want, or keep to yourself. there is no pressure to get involved in actives.
Bar and restaurant are great. Food is good. All the staff we have encountered have been wonderful too.
Very central for getting out and exploring, but a car has made the difference, as not much close by.
Only negative is the mosquitos! But that is for the whole region, and is just one of those things - bring anti mozi stuff!

Excellent place to stay.
Excellent location. Fair sized mobile home with outdoor covered terrace. Washing facilities close by. Good bar and restaurant. Lovely staff.
Minor problem with a noisy guest who was ejected from the site.
