Your camping holiday close to Nice

Historical aspect, Nice (formerly Nicea in Roman times) has a rich history: the Arenas of Cimiez and its Roman Baths, the Notre-Dame basilica, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral, the world-famous Negresco hotel and Palais de la Méditerranée hotel also located on the Promenade des Anglais.

Cuisine aspect, something the whole family will love during your stay on our campsite in Nice. For starters, you will begin with some beignets de fleurs de courgettes (zucchini flower fritters) with courgettes grown in the local countryside, followed by a traditional daube niçois (Nice stew) or maybe some gnocchis à la niçoise (Nice-style gnocchi); and finally for dessert, a slice of tourte aux blettes (Swiss Chard Tart). And if you still have room left for a snack after a walk on the beach you can try the famous socca, a speciality from Nice, or maybe some Pissaladière. All of these traditional dishes are available to try in many restaurants in Nice, especially in old Nice.

Excellent place to stay.
Excellent location. Fair sized mobile home with outdoor covered terrace. Washing facilities close by. Good bar and restaurant. Lovely staff.
Minor problem with a noisy guest who was ejected from the site.

Great stay
We booked a hotel room for one night to begin our journey into Provence-Camargue and it was an excellent start of the trip. Very large and comfortable room, friendly staff, great location which is worth to visit for longer.

Heerlijk tot rust gekomen en genoten!
We liked a lot of things:
The cabin was really nice, clean and new
The food in the restaurant was good and for a good price
The staff was lovely and very friendly
The environment is beautiful and near a lot of beautiful places to visit (Monaco, Cannes, Valbonne, Gourdon, Tourettes sur Loup, Saint Paul, etc etc)
It was not really a bad thing, but I would like to suggest to place a ventilator in the cabin. This will make the experience even better. :)

Very good stay in a quiet area and great friendly people
I really liked the stay here, I was sad to be leaving after one night. It's a very quiet place in the middle of nowhere. They did have someone stay up late for our late arrival, and the room was nice. We stayed in the little hotel that they have on the property. I can see how it could be a little noisy though if too many people were coming in and out. The owners themselves live in the hotel and there is a great family feel. We stayed here for a short stay before heading into Nice for Ironman Nice, but it would've been fine to stay here the whole time and you are right on a significant piece of the bike course. The breakfast was basic baguettes and croissants but it's France so it was wonderful. I loved the owners. The property was wide open and quiet, and it was easy to put our bikes together in the parking lot while people came by and asked friendly questions. It was a great stay.

The owner's family spoke great English, so much so that I thought he was American. He even had an east coast accent.

The view out the bedroom window was fantastic.

I did have an expired code for the Wifi, but since I arrived so late, I did not give them a chance to fix that problem, so it would be unfair to dock them for that minor issue.

I had a truly wonderful experience for a 40th birthday party recently. The site is well located in a valley with a beautiful stream and breathtaking views of the mountains. It's also a short car drive away from the picturesque Gourdon village.
All the chalets are brand new with large showers and wooden decked porches. The food is of great quality and there is a well stocked bar (the barmen even put on free shots for us!). What struck me the most was how friendly and helpful the staff were; on forgetting to pack my face cream they sent it back to me in UK free of charge.

Service was good but I dislike the mentality to pay extra for everything. I had to wash my clothes and it was 4 euro for the Washing machine and 1 extra for the soap... Common!!
Still I'd recommend the place!!

Nice fun family spot
Hotel situated in a friendly campground. Loved drinking beer and playing table tennis at the cafe. They had a barbecue area which we could access ( other much more expensive campgrounds don't have this facility and should).
If you are staying for awhile and wanting to travel to different parts of the Mediterrsnean coast it is little out of the way. Close to Grasse though.

Superb
Camping+hotel with a few rooms. Nice and clean rooms. There is a pool on the premises. Friendly and helpful staff.
There is loud music until midnight.

An oasis of calm in the hectic cote d'azur.
The location is great for beauty, tranquility and pet-friendliness. The chalets are fairly spacious and are very well-equipped and clean, the staff are extremely helpful.
It was a little hard to find, the first night, but after we phoned for directions we were given all the help we needed and guided to our destination by phone.

adequate but would stay in local aubergine in preference.
this is a mobile home campsite with a few rooms in the main building. food is very basic. rooms are neat, good size and clean.
wifi only works with one device for limited time, so my wife and I could not utilise this as expected and staff unable to resolve this. only option was to pay a supplement for advertised free WiFi, which is unacceptable. campers and bikers a bit noisy but very friendly.

Delightful adventure
Wonderful change of pace. Our room was comfortable and clean. The gentleman who checked us in and also made our espresso in the morning was kind and welcoming. The hotel portion of the property sits within a larger campground that is a cruise ship on land... with a pool, ping pong, climbing playground equipment, and lots of running around room. Great place.
It was a bit of a challenge finding the place — we could have benefited from more explicit directions for getting there, and what we would see so we would know we were on the right path.

On a river, fresh and clean ....
The croissants are not the best but the staff is very friendly
The pillows are a bit too ”plastic”.
